with the 3.16.0-49 kernel everything works just fine.

I made muon notifier autoupdate security updates which includes Kernel
updates. Without systemadministration the usb of all Acer E1 532 will
noct work anymore. Without any exception this happens to all 3 Acer
Notebooks.

  usb  at all in  14.04 LTS version with automatic updates activated in
  muon notifier will necessarily lead to a total catastrophe of no usb at
  all.
