When I first wake the computer, or boot the computer, wireless
attempts to connect about 15-20 times before finally connecting.
Once connected, speed and latency vary randomly, but mostly on the
slow/high side respectively.
When I test my connection speed with a site like speedtest.net, I'll
usually get full speed for about 1/2 a sec , then it goes to zero for
awhile, then comes back on at full speed a second later or so.
With windows, connected to the same router, none of these problems
occur.
