Title:
CD-ROM units doesn't mount automatically under a Live environment

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I booted the ubuntu-10.10-desktop-i386.iso into Try mode.

  I have 3 optical units:
   - DVD-RW : has the boot medium
   - two CD-ROM units - empty

I inserted an iso9660 CD into one empty unit.
  It was not mounted.
Neither if inserted into other unit.

Mounting by "mount /dev/cdrom /mnt" works fine. For both units (the
  other is /dev/cdrom2).
