[Bug 1514102] [NEW] Intermittent graphics corruption

Every so often the screen would be corrupted with horizontal lines of
junk.

WORKAROUND: Add to /etc/default/grub GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX nomodeset:
sudo update-grub
reboot

Now the system will only allow VGA 640x480 graphics.
