Message #146096
[Bug 1516347] Re: The PC freezing problem
Rohan Jadhav, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu
better.
To advise, this report is not In Progress as defined in
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Status .
Also, one wouldn't want to mark themselves as "Assigned to" unless they
are going to release a code fix imminently (next 24-48 hours).
Despite this, please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:
apport-collect 1516347
When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-
bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this
functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.

Title:
The PC freezing problem
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
The PC "freezes" by a) the mouse pointer no longer moving and (I
think) icons no longer responding to clicking the mouse, b) the mouse
pointer continues to move, but icons no longer responding to clicking
the mouse. If I turn on the touchpad, which is generally off, it's
also the same thing ( a) or b) ) with the touchpad. Sometimes the PC
will respond to the "alt button" on the keyboard, sometimes not.
Sometimes ctrl + alt + t brings up a terminal, sometimes not
