  [LENOVO IdeaPad Y560] late resume failure

Bug description:
   i have just upgraded from 13.04 to 13.10 and since then i was unasble
  to login using my account or guess account. Even for using ctrl + alt
  + f1, i had to boot into repair mod and then select the resume option.
