[Bug 1159358] Re: [HP Pavillion dm3-1109TU] USB Printer needs replug to work after boot

Hello Christopher.. Seems ok with Lucid, printer status ok & ready with
1st plugging after system start up.

but with different conditions:
- I have to download driver from Canon site : Canon MX320 series Ver.3.10 (since Lucid didn't provide MX series driver), which is different from driver used in Precise (from its database)
- Seems that Lucid only read 1 interface but Precise read 2 interfaces (printer & fax). I don't really understand about that either what is the correct behavior since I don't understand faxing via Ubuntu.
URI that automatically read after cable plugged & driver not yet installed : usb://Canon/MX320%20series%20FAX

[HP Pavillion dm3-1109TU] USB Printer needs replug to work after boot

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
While working a moment on LibreOffice Calc found that facts:
  - Print job was pending (printer not printing). Found that the printer was not working. Usually if the problem persists, plug out the USB cable and then plug in again. I don't find any solution other than replugging printer USB cable to wake up the printer.
