Title:
[Dell Latitude E5440] System will wake itself up on the first suspend
after boot
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
CID: 201307-14032 Dell Latitude E5540
This system will wake itself up on the first suspend after boot.
Steps:
1. Install 12.04.3 + update (3.8.0-43), boot to desktop
2. Suspend it by the "Suspend" option in system menu
3. Wake it up by pressing the power button
Expected result:
* System can be suspended / resumed successfully.
Actual result:
* System will wake itself up immediately after it's suspended.
But if you try it again, there is no such problem.
Please find "autoresume.dmesg" for dmesg output when this happens
"suspendok.dmesg" is the dmesg output that the system didn't wake itself
Compare these two file, an unique message could be found in autoresume.dmesg
[ 69.057421] Broke affinity for irq 21
Maybe this has something to do with this issue.
