Title:
  lucid instead of terminating reboots

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Hello. I've just installed ubuntu lucid beta2 in order to check whether the bug i've had since alpha2 is fixed.
My laptop does not terminate whether i use the indicator or the terminal (sudo shutdown -P/-h now). Instead it reboots. The same appears to ubuntu 32bit, ubuntu 64bit, kubuntu 32bit, kubuntu 64bit and xubuntu 32bit from alpha 2 to beta2.
I had no such problem on intrepid, jaunty or karmic.
The laptop is an Acer aspire 5542G (AMD Athlon II 2.0 GHz-3GB RAM-ATI Mobility Radeon 4570-250 GB HD).
I would like to know what tests or what logs should i send to launchpad, or how can i create a bug report to launchpad.
  I am a new user.
