[Bug 1529324] [NEW] Attributes are not consistent
Public bug reported:
I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 dev with nvidia-settings 352.21-0ubuntu1 and I'm
noticing that attributes are not always using the same unit. Here is an
example:
sworddragon@ubuntu:~$ nvidia-settings -q all | grep -E "Attribute '(TotalDedicatedGPUMemory|VideoRam)'"
Attribute 'VideoRam' (ubuntu:0.0): 2097152.
Attribute 'VideoRam' (ubuntu:0[gpu:0]): 2097152.
Attribute 'TotalDedicatedGPUMemory' (ubuntu:0[gpu:0]): 2040.
VideoRam is shown in KiB while TotalDedicatedGPUMemory is shown in MiB.
** Affects: nvidia-settings (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
** Summary changed:
- Values of attributes are not consistent
