  Not precisely sure how this came about.
  system performed update/install of 2.6.32-37
  required reboot
  system attempted boot with 32-37
  splash appeared as 8 bit type graphic
  system hangs with "loading please wait..." message
  had to grub menu select 32-33 to use system
