[Bug 1217745] Re: Fail to add UEFI boot entry on some Lenovo notebooks
This bug is awaiting verification that the kernel in -proposed solves
the problem. Please test the kernel and update this bug with the
results. If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-quantal-
needed' to 'verification-quantal-done'.
If verification is not done by one week from today, this fix will be
dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.

Bug description:
Tried UEFI Shell command:
Shell> bcfg boot add 3 fs0:\EFI\boot\bootxx64.efi "test"
F11's Boot Menu cannot show the test entry.
Run "sudo fwts uefivarinfo -" will give this error:
Test 1 of 1: UEFI variable info query.
UEFI NVRAM storage:
Maximum storage: 73708 bytes
Remaining storage: 59812 bytes
Maximum variable size: 40920 bytes
Variable is larger than maximum variable length.
Return status: EFI_BUFFER_TOO_SMALL. The buffer is not large enough to hold the
requested data. The required buffer size is returned in the appropriate
parameter when this error occurs.
