  [REGRESSION] NVidia Settings systematically crashes on "Detect
  displays"

Status in nvidia-settings package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce:
  - open Nvidia Settings
  - go to "X Server Display Configuration"
  - click "Detect Displays"

  => systematically crashes

  This has started happening after upgrading from 15.04 to 15.10.
