Title:
Bluetooth disconnects and phone not found after disconnection
Status in bluez package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Phone information:
BQ Aquaris E5
Bluetooth: 4.0
Ubuntu 15.04 OTA 8.5
Bug details:
The phone will connect to the in-car Bluetooth hands free. Making calls from the touch screen will initialize a call on the phone, but soon after the call connection, the Bluetooth drops. The caller only hears static. The phone will not reconnect with the Bluetooth hands free device, unless the phone is rebooted.
Expected.
A call is successfully placed using a hands free device and the Bluetooth connection will remain connected to the phone.
Bluetooth device details of hands free unit.
VW Composition Media with bluetooth 4.0. Touch screen in-car entertainment.
Other information:
Some have reported phones that will not connect to hands free devices.
Some device pairing can take some time to connect and can be unsuccessful.
Attached is the phones system log after the final test was done.
