[Bug 1349108] Re: Disconnections problems each day after upgrade linux-firmware:amd64 (1.127.4, 1.127.5)
Hello fellows!
I have almost the same problem: after updating oxideqt and its libraries I lost my NetworkManager. I had to update oxideqt with Synaptic because both Ubuntu Software Updater and apt-get refused to do it. After update everything was continuing without any trouble. Untill I have rebooted my PC. After rebooting NM-applet starts in background: without any sign in tray and without any connection to the net. Same scene on both my computers: PC and notebook on the same day!
System: Ubuntu 14.04.3 (PC - updated from 14.04.2, NB - fresh install).
No any connection: nor PC with Ethernet (to a router) or NB with Wi-Fi (to the same router).
Even now to find solution I had to boot under LiveCD!
