[Bug 1526683] Re: 10ec:8821 rtl8821ae loses connection occasionally on 2.4 GHz network requiring hardware button to be toggled twice for connection to be re-established
Mikaela Suomalainen, I'm not sure how this is mistakenly forgotten as
Incomplete, when the original reporter is to mark it Confirmed when they
provide requested information.
Despite this, the latest mainline kernel (4.5-rc1) has been released a
week ago. To see if this is already resolved, could you please test it
and advise to the results?

Bug description:
rtl8821ae loses connection occasionally connected to 802.11n 2.4 GHz
ASUS Wireless Router RT-AC51U (firmware 3.0.0.4.378_9135-gac2b2c2on).
This requires WiFi hardware button to be toggled twice for connection
to be re-established.
WORKAROUND: Set router to "legacy" mode (i.e. 802.11g).
