Thanks for testing, Alan. Can you give 4.5-rc5 a try? It can be downloaded from:

I'll setup a system and see if I can reproduce this. If I can , I'll
bisect it.

Bug description:
Since updating to the 4.4.0-2 kernel recvmsg() fails SCM_CREDENTIALS
request with EOPNOTSUPP.
This manifests as a test failure in Mir:
