[Bug 1545916] Re: intel wifi [8086:3165] (rev 79) failed to work after updating the system

 

The last kernel version that did work is 3.19.0-23-generic #24~14.04.1,
which was pre-installed on the new computer.

After updating to a more recent kernel the wi-fi stops working. I made
it work again by re-installing the original system through system
recovery option.

I will now run the software updater again and post the logs as required
in answer #3 above from my other computer.
