Micha, it will help immensely if you filed a new report with Ubuntu by ensuring you have the package xdiagnose installed, and that you click the Yes button for attaching additional debugging information running the following from a terminal:
ubuntu-bug xorg

  gnome-shell weird lines

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  In gnome-shell font are corrupted and are present weird lines. I'm
  reffering to Ubuntu 12.04 full installed, and Ubuntu 12.10 gnome remix
  live edition.
