[Bug 1549928] [NEW] package linux-image-3.19.0-51-generic (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: subprocess new pre-installation script returned error exit status 128

 

Public bug reported:

This isue ocurred while I installed the upgrade using the the standard method
with the GUI of update-manager, just after a standard boot of this Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS Trusty.

Arch is AMD64/4CPUs

MAIN-UPDATES come from : fr.archive.ubuntu.com

Actual release was: Linux rdv 3.19.0-39-generic #44~14.04.1-Ubuntu SMP
Wed Dec 2 10:00:35 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

'lsb_release -rd returns:
Description:	Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS
Release:	14.04

The update manager itself reported the crash, so I cannot figure out
which version/packages was running at the time this event occurred.
