[Bug 1227678] Re: [Dell Inc. OptiPlex 7010] suspend/resume failure

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v3.12 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following
tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag:
'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed".

Thanks in advance.

Title:
[Dell Inc. OptiPlex 7010] suspend/resume failure

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
This has happened multiple times. I suspend when I leave work. When I
arrive in the morning the power light shows it is suspended, but when
I press a key on the keyboard to wake up, it takes a few seconds, and
then the system reboots. I don't know if the system has ever
  suspended/resumed correctly.

I set the system firmware to run pure UEFI with no legacy drivers and
  I enabled Secure Boot.
