[Bug 1228860] Re: bcmwl-kernel-source 6.20.155.1+bdcom-0ubuntu0.0.1: bcmwl kernel module failed to build

 

I found the way out.
First, I erased Ubuntu 12.04LTS and installed Ubuntu 10.04LTS
and made update.
Then I installed the b43 driver in the standard way. 
It worked well in  Ubuntu 10.04LTS.
Then I upgradet to Ubuntu 12.04LTS.
The wireless continued to work in 
Ubuntu 12.04LTS as well.

But yesterday, wenn I installed Ubuntu 12.04LTS directly
(without 10.04) wireless did not work and the driver
could not be downloaded (see above).

Bug description:
  My wireless does not work after the installation of Ubuntu 12.04.
  I tried to install the Broatcom driver following the instructions
  of http://www.broadcom.com/docs/linux_sta/README.txt
  I gave the command 
  sudo insmod wl.ko
  The screen became black with a lot of text information.
  After I returned to the grafic screen vie Ctr-Alt-F7, 
  a window suggesting to submit a bug report appeared.

  The driver does not work.
