[Bug 1552155] Re: linux-firmware: need to look at what if any updates needed for lts-xenial in trusty
I did some preliminary testing on a Skylake machine running Trusty with
the lts-xenial kernel. With both the 1.127.20 and 1.127.21 versions of
linux-firmware I was able to suspend/resume and there were no warnings
or BUG() in dmesg.

We are now publishing a beta version of lts-xenial in trusty. This
normally means we need to think about linux-firmware updates to
