[Bug 1174105] Re: Please enable CONFIG_USB_UAS in kernel config
I'm not really comfortable enabling this feature as long as
CONFIG_USB_UAS is "depends on SCSI && BROKEN". Perhaps it will be ready
in time for 14.04

Title:
Please enable CONFIG_USB_UAS in kernel config
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
CONFIG_USB_UAS enables UAS (USB Attached SCSI), which is a new(ish)
specification that is more efficient than USB Storage Bulk-Only
Transfer. A number of newer drive enclosures and adapters that support
USB 3.0 support UAS(P) (e.g. ASM1053E and ASM1051E chipsets).
