[Bug 1541361] Re: Unable to load aufs module
This has been tracked to a bug in our cloud disk image cloning tool
creating corrupt qcow images.

Attempting to load the aufs kernel module results in an error
$ sudo modprobe aufs
modprobe: ERROR: ../libkmod/libkmod.c:556 kmod_search_moddep() could not open moddep file '/lib/modules/3.13.0-77-generic/modules.dep.bin'
$ file /lib/modules/3.13.0-77-generic/modules.dep.bin
/lib/modules/3.13.0-77-generic/modules.dep.bin: empty
$ uname -a
Linux template-bare-trusty-1454450408 3.13.0-77-generic #121-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jan 20 10:50:42 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
$ sudo aptitude search aufs
