Actually this happened from the very beginning.

   - First wifi setup OK, after reboot, no access.
   - Same story after some modifications coming from the French wifi forum
   : after modification, sometimes OK, after reboot, nothing

I had some issues to install the latest upstream kernel.

I downloaded
linux-headers-3.14.4-031404-generic_3.14.4-031404.201405130853_amd64.deb
and
linux-image-3.14.4-031404-generic_3.14.4-031404.201405130853_amd64.deb

but this answer came up
$ sudo dpkg -i

  I just bought a laptop "HP Envy x360 15-w100nf". Everything's fine except wifi
  - It works on w10
  - but not on Ub 16.04 / 4.4.0-15 / 64 bits
  - nor Ub 14.04

  I've spent hours of discussions and tests on wifi forum

  Now I think nobody can help me on the forum because we've tried everything, that's why I assume it's a bug.
  I'm ready to make every test which could help solving this problem
