Title:
Bluetooth HFP indicates a permanent ongoing call
Status in Canonical System Image:
Confirmed
Status in bluez package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Since the upgrade to Bluez5 I can't have my Phone connected to my car
(BMW 1) any more.
It pairs fine, but as soon as the connection is established, the car's
head unit thinks there is a phone call ongoing to the number
"********" (yes, it displays asterisks as the target number on the
car). This has the effect that I cannot listen to any music in the car
while the phone is connected as the head unit obviously mutes all
other sound and only relays the Hands-Free audio between the car and
the phone. Pressing the hangup button on the car has no effect.
Disconnecting the phone is the only way to make the phone call go
away.
This is a regression with OTA-9. It was working perfectly fine before
the Bluez5 upgrade.
