[Bug 1568590] Re: Bluetooth stopped working

Joseph,

It should work on 4.2.8-ckt8.

See
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/git/ubuntu/linux.git/commit/drivers/bluetooth/ath3k.c?h=linux-4.2.y&id=5a9f7db311154cc8a6123768a6859a852b103d5d

Title:
  Bluetooth stopped working

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Hi,

I've recently install kUbuntu 15.10, and bluetooth worked out of the box. But at some point (probably after installing updates)
it is no longer detecting (when scanning) any devices.

I have found a similar bug report here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1552925,
but the package linked there did not work (probably due to me using ath9k, not ath3k module) - the bluetooth card was not detected, and in dmesg were messages about failing to load firmware.
