Title:
fstab mount failure cause boot failure
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
This is the first time to report a bug:
sys: ubuntu 16.04 beta
The scene is like this:
I mount a mobile hard disk, use:
fdisk /dev/sddx
append "/dev/sddx /media/username/path ext4 defaults 0 0"
mount .....
take my computer home (no mobile hd)
boot failure, error message could provide little or bit information
I comment in the cmd terminal the line: /dev/sdd ............. in /etc/fstab
every ok
I notice: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1463120
report this problem, but my "ubuntu 16.04 beta" do NOT fix this problem
I am fans of ubuntu, I hope this bug could be fixed.
