[Bug 403994] Re: WIFI WPA1 (TKIP) - eeePC 1000H - ATHEROS AR928X (PCIe) - ath9k - No Access point
Hi,
I've been having similar issues on my EeePC 1005HA, AR9285, ah9K driver on Lubuntu 14.04 and now on 16.04.
It very rarely manage to connect to my AP (WPA1 CCMP).
Tried
echo "options ath9k nohwcrypt=1" > /etc/modprobe.d/ath9k.conf as mentionned in Forums
but it does not seem to reliably fix things.
Happy to provide more detailed info as needed.

Title:
WIFI WPA1 (TKIP) - eeePC 1000H - ATHEROS AR928X (PCIe) - ath9k - No
Access point
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Hi,
I can't connect to the Wifi network because of "No Association with the access point".
I connected once to another network (no access key) than mine, only for a period of 10 seconds, w/o key, on channel 11.
I upgraded from kernel 2.6.27-8 to 2.6.27-11, w/o effect : Same behaviour in both kernel's cases.
I did not update ath9k driver as I assumed it included in the kernel package from 2.6.27 onwards..
Also same behaviour using the NetworkManager GUI or Wicd or command
line settings.
No MAC filtering done by the AP. DHCP activated. Automatic Channel
activated (but same result with a fixed channel)
At this level of hundreds of tests, this can definitely be assessed as
a bug.
