[Bug 1568907] Re: Trackpad Not Reporting Gestures for ASUS Transformer Series of Laptop
I tried to get the kernel working, but it would not boot. It looks like
it requires a lot of software be uninstalled which I don't want to do.
The keyboard never had multitouch support in Linux.

Trackpad Not Reporting Gestures for ASUS Transformer Series of Laptop
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
This series of laptop has a wireless keyboard which can separate from the computer. The trackpad has multitouch support in windows but it is not working in Ubuntu. The input is reported as "ASUS ASUS Wireless Input Receiver". During setup "/var/log/Xorg.0.log" shows that a mouse wheel was recognized on the device, however using evtest shows that the mouse wheel signal REL_WHEEL is not triggered when the gesture is performed.
