Hi,

I tried it on another firestone machine with 17-Feb build. Installation
is successful and issue not observed.

  Problem Description
  ===================================
  ubuntu 14.04.4 installation on Firestone baremetal with "Guided - use entire disk and set up LVM" fails when ext3 is chosen as / file system. Below error message is displayed.

      ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

  Steps to Reproduce
  =============================
  1. Start netboot installation on Firestone baremetal machine from
  http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/dists/trusty-proposed/main/installer-ppc64el/current/images/wily-netboot/
  2. During "Partition disks" select
  Manual -> Guided partitioning -> Guided - use entire disk and set up LVM

    ?????????????????????????? [!!] Partition disks ???????????????????????????
    ?                                                                         ?
    ? The installer can guide you through partitioning a disk (using ?
    ? different standard schemes) or, if you prefer, you can do it ?
    ? manually. With guided partitioning you will still have a chance later ?
    ? to review and customise the results. ?

    ? If you choose guided partitioning for an entire disk, you will next ?

  I see the following errors in the syslog, parted is able to create the partition but mke2fs is unable to create the ext3 file system.
