[Bug 1574929] Re: No WiFi indicators after suspend (Qualcomm Atheros AR9462 [168c:0034])

** Summary changed:

- No WiFi after suspend (Qualcomm Atheros AR9462 [168c:0034])
+ No WiFi indicators after suspend (Qualcomm Atheros AR9462 [168c:0034])

** Description changed:

After a fresh install of Xenial (16.04) on my laptop (Acer Aspire
VN7-591G), the WiFi does not work after suspend. It worked without
problem on the latest Trusty version (14.04.4).

  The Wireless module is:

Network controller [0280]: Qualcomm Atheros AR9462 Wireless Network
  Adapter [168c:0034] (rev 01)

  Steps to reproduce:
  - Turn the computer on. Make sure WiFi is on and working.
  - Suspend the device (e.g. by closing the lid)
  - Wake the device up (by pressing the power button)
  - Check the network connectivity

  Expected result:
  - WiFi can be used after suspend

  Actual result:
- - No WiFi after suspend. The device has to be restarted to get the WiFi connection back (de-activating/re-activating the "Enable WiFi" or "Enable Networking" from the Network menu does nothing).
+ - No WiFi indicators in the "Connections" menu after suspend. The device has to be restarted, or I have to log out of my session then log back in to get the WiFi connection indicators back (de-activating/re-activating the "Enable WiFi" or "Enable Networking" from the Network menu does nothing).
+
+ Update (2016-05-05): In fact, the WiFi connection works properly (I
+ can access the Web and I have an IP when checking with `ip addr`), but
+ the network indicator doesn't reflect this, so it might be a Network
+ Manager issue?
