[Bug 1574814] Re: ThunderX: soft lockup in cursor_timer_handler() Edit

 

I created a perf timechart (attached) to see if that would illuminate
the problem. This is taken from the installer environment for the first
30s.

In this boot, the soft lockup occurred on CPU 11:

This blocked period appears to be visible from the chart, but it isn't
clear to me what it was executing at the time.

  I booted a Cavium ThunderX crb1s 2.0 system using the netboot mini iso via virtual media:

  During boot I observed the following lockup on the serial console:
