Also appears to work on my Dell XPS 13 9343. Have not seen the keyboard
backlight come on for the past couple of days.

  Action: Boot computer

  Expected Behavior: Keyboard backlight would be off when computer is
  booted

  Actual Behavior: Keyboard backlight is on at boot

  This did not happen with Ubuntu 15.04

  There are new files in Ubuntu 15.10 -
