[Bug 618472] Re: missing utilities

 

This is reported against an old version of Ubuntu and many things has
changed since then. Because of that we won't fix this issue however if
this behavior repeats on a modern version please fill a bug report
against it and we will take it from there.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: bluez

  bluez-utils is missing the bdaddr utility, not to mention that it
  contains no utilities, whatsoever.

  Some cheap bluetooth adapters lack eeprom for the hardware device
  address and you can't use two of the same model without changing the
  device address.
