[Bug 913441] Re: Bluetooth is not working once disconnected

 

This is reported against an old version of Ubuntu and many things has
changed since then. Because of that we won't fix this issue however if
this behavior repeats on a modern version please fill a bug report
against it and we will take it from there.

  Bluetooth is not working once disconnected

Status in bluez package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Bluetooth dial-up stops working once i disconnect bluetooth dial-up connection.
  The device (my mobile) remains connected.
  Further bluetoothd daemon hangs. killing the daemon is also not possible in that situation. For instance:

  $ sudo pkill -9 bluetoothd
  $ pgrep bluetoothd 
  1347

  A side-effect for this problem is the operating system is not
  suspended as the process cannot be stopped.
