[Bug 1589023] Re: missing support for bluetooth device 0489:e092


Can you provide some information on the status of the patch with regards
to getting it merged upstream? Has it been sent upstream, what sort of
feedback has it received, is it getting applied to a subsystem
maintainer's tree, etc?

Bug description:
  With provided kernel module, Bluetooth pretends to be active but there
  is no real activity.

  * Fix by adding a declaration in kernel sources

          { USB_DEVICE(0x0489, 0xe092), .driver_info = BTUSB_QCA_ROME },

  * Compiled extra module /lib/modules/4.4.0-22-generic/extra/btusb.ko

  * Successfully tested against my phone (obex file transfer)
