[Bug 1590371] Re: ACPI CPU frequency scaling does not work with the 4.6.0-7.8 config and up
** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided => Medium
You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel
Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu.
ACPI CPU frequency scaling does not work with the 4.6.0-7.8 config and
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
In that config version, all of the CONFIG_CPU_FREQ_GOV_* drivers
except PERFORMANCE were switch from "y" to "m". Because of this, none
of the drivers other than PERFORMANCE are loaded and the CPU remains
at full speed all the time.
The results of this can be seen in the 4.6.1 and 4.6.2 mainline
