Title:
Unable to mount Kodak EasyShare Z1285 Zoom Digital Camera
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I'm running Xenial Xerus 16.04 LTS...but this bug also affected Trusty
14.04. The very fact that Ubuntu recognizes the make and model of the
camera is even more infuriating!
Why the heck won't it mount it so I can download and manipulate my
photos with programs like Digikam, Shotwell, etcetera?
Gimp can open the files...but of course GIMP is not a photo-management
program.
Please resolve and/or tell me which program will communicate with this
excellent little digital camera!
I have combed the web for a solution and I am at wits end.
Full Error message:
"Unable to mount Kodak EasyShare Z1285 Zoom Digital Camera
Error initializing camera:-53: Could not claim the USB device"
