- It appears that Ubuntu 13.10 does not include a script previous
- available under /etc/init.d . The script was used to kick start our
- hv_kvp_daemon service. I have uploaded the script from Ubuntu 12.10 to
- this mail. We need to include this script and also write a similar one
- for hv_vss_daemon. Please let me know if you need more info.

  It appears that Ubuntu 13.10 does not include a script to initialize
  the hv_vss_daemon. The script should be just the same as the one for
  hv_kvp_daemon.

  The hv_kvp_daemon init script hv-kvp-daemon-init is just a symbolic
  link to /lib/init/upstart-job

  Creating a new symbolic link titled hv-vss-daemon-init that would
  start the daemon /usr/sbin/hv_vss_daemon_{version number} should solve
  the problem.
