  XDMCP Failure

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  I received the following segfault after attempting to login via XDMCP.
  The login screen looks fine over XDMCP, and several applications
  attempt to auto-launch with varying success.  It is clear that the
  launcher and top menu system is not launching (perhaps due to the
  errors shown in dmesg below).

  Is login under lightdm and Unity supported over XDMCP?  I wasn't able
  to find any other bug reports showing this issue, so I'm not certain
  if it's just me, or if others have this problem too.  Please let me
  know if there is anything else I can provide.
