Title:
8086:1502 [Dell Latitude E6430s] Failure to suspend due to ethernet
  controller

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
When I attempt to suspend my Dell Latitude E6430s, I sometimes get
  this error message through dmesg:

[49761.960312] PM: Device 0000:00:19.0 failed to suspend async: error
  -2

lspci identifies the hardware in question:

00:19.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82579LM Gigabit Network
  Connection (rev 04)

I can normally suspend without problems for a while, and then at some
point I get this error and from then on I can't suspend unless I
restart the computer, then after a while the same problem occurs. The
ethernet is not actually connected, and it seems I can't disable
networking through Network Manager (I click on Enable networking and
nothing changes). So this may be a problem with network manager that
  affects linux, I'm not sure.
