  ext4 filesystem freezes with dmesg kernel BUG message

Bug description:
  An ext4 filesystem (raid 5 array assembled at /dev/md0, mounted at /mnt/raid) stops responding (freezes). 
  Transmission-daemon and other processes reading/writing to that filesystem also freezes, and are unable to unload, even with a kill -9. The system is unable to be restarted.
  A kernel BUG is presented at dmesg:
