[Bug 1245049] Re: bcmwl-kernel-source 6.20.155.1+bdcom-0ubuntu6: bcmwl kernel module failed to build

If you look at http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/bcmwl-kernel-source,
you'll notice that this package is for 802.11 wireless cards that have
Broadcom's architecture. The important thing to note about this package
is that it only supports certain broadcom cards, but any card that
internally says it is broadcom makes this driver available. My
recommendation if this kernel is not building, is to uninstall it:

[code]sudo apt-get remove bcmwl-kernel-source[\code]

Once you do that, I would do a search for your wireless card and your
graphics card to see what you need to install the correct drivers for
them.

Not really sure what additional info I can provide. I know I was
having issues with the Intel HD Graphics 4000 card so I load what I
thought was a supported driver for the graphic card.
