Re: [Bug 1229489] Re: Shutdown hangs after update to Ubuntu 13.04

Hello Christopher,

This issue is already fixed in kernel 3.9. I'm running saucy with kernel
3.11.0-12 and it's also fixed. I suppose trusty will work as well. I would
think that I should mark this bug as fixed, right?

Kind Regards

Title:
Shutdown hangs after update to Ubuntu 13.04

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Sorry, newbe here. I checked logs and nothing seems wrong or different from 12.10. After I try to shutdown or reset the machine (both through the GUI and sudo shutdown -r now) it drops to console and hangs right after shutting down apache. Whenever I boot a previous kernel, shutdown is normal. Maybe acpid-related? If you need more info, let me know.
  Cheers
