[Bug 1227687] Re: Kernel 3.2.0-53-generic-pae freeze very often after update from 3.2.0-52-generic-pae
Kaiser Alexander, please do not post attachments that are compressed, as
this makes it onerous for anyone to help you. As well, an attachment
isn't what was requested. What was requested was just a comment
providing the full computer model as noted on the sticker for only the
computer you reported this against, not something queried against linux
or anything else.

Title:
Kernel 3.2.0-53-generic-pae freeze very often after update from
3.2.0-52-generic-pae
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
* Kernel 3.2.0-53-generic-pae (inkl non pae) freeze very often after update from 3.2.0-52-generic-pae on all computers (for exapmle Dell D600, Dell D420, Medion UIM2080, Siemens Towers...)
* When system freeze no fault messages happends; harddisk led is going of; cpu fan is blowing like bevor crashing;
* For simulation see attachment file with skript and infos.
* The freezing happends mostly after "long" time cpu's = 100% and very much harddisk access to the same time.
Only CPU OR harddisk access is not so criticaly for freezing.
* In kernel 3.2.0-52-generic-pae or 3.2.0-52-generic or earlyer i hade no problems with freezing like this.
If you would like more informations or i should test a new version, please let me know and kontakt me...
Best regards...
