Well there's a couple of serious bugs in the existing installer right
now...

Btrfs is broken https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1224443
And this bug, which prevents installation of ubuntu onto a huge swath of ultrabooks out there, including the Dell XPS 13 "developer edition" which comes pre-installed with ubuntu..
