Title:
Bluetooth and WIFI always turned ON, on Clevo laptop (P150EM)
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
On my Clevo laptop (P150EM) bluetooth is always turned on and it can
not be turned of using the fn-key. This has worked fine under Ubuntu
12.10 with kernel 3.5.0. This seems to be related to current kernel
versions.
Bluetooth turns on right when the kernel starts booting after grub.
I have tested:
- Ubuntu 12.10, kernel 3.5.0 - works
- Ubuntu 12.10, kernel 3.6.0 - works
- Ubuntu 12.10, kernel 3.6.11 - works
- Ubuntu 12.10, kernel 3.7.0rc1 - broken
- Ubuntu 12.10, kernel 3.7.9 - broken
- Ubuntu 12.10, kernel 3.8.0 - broken
- Ubuntu 13.04, kernel 3.8.0 - broken
Other people have that problem too:

I noticed this, when I tried to boot a newer kernel under Ubuntu 12.10 to fix my brightness fn-keys:
