[Toshiba Protege Z930-12T PT235E-02Q04KEP] fails to resume after

Bug description:
After resuming from first supend, brightness keys don't work, power
key doesn't show logout menu, and if I try to suspend a second time
I'm unable to recover from suspension (blank screen)
Seems similar to
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1088721
This is definetly seems a regression. I did a manual bisect on kernels
from http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline and everytihng
works ok up until kernel 3.3.8. Starting from 3.4 and up until 3.8-rc,
I can see this bug.
I also have a toshiba portege z830 and this doesn't happen, so it's specific to Toshiba Portege z930(-12T)
